Shaquille O'Neal teams with the Cleveland Cavaliers

Shaquille O'Neal made the switch to the Cleveland Cavaliers!

The city of Cleveland welcomed O'Neal -- they have been waiting since 1964 for one of its three pro sports franchises to win a championship.

Sporting #33, this will be the first cold climate O'Neal has played in since his stops in Orlando, Los Angeles, Miami and Phoenix. Dan Gilbert, Cavaliers owner, welcomed him with a pair of winter boots and snow shovel.

Chris Bates - the 10th Princeton Head Coach

Chris Bates will guide the Princeton Tigers in the next chapter in their storied history.

Graduating from Darmouth in 1990, Bates played attack and midfield and earned All-Ivy League honors.

His impressive coaching career began in 1992 at Archbishop Ryan in Philadelphia. He became an assistant coach at Drexel in 1995 and took over as head coach in 2000.

LSU Tigers WIN 2009 NCAA College World Series

The Lousiana State University (LSU)Tigers did it again -- this is their sixth National Championship!!!

With a 11-4 victory, LSU forced out the Texas Longhorns to win the the 2009 NCAA College World Steries TITLE!!!

Garrett Gilbert - MAXPREPS 2008-09 MALE ATHLETE OF THE YEAR

Known as the king of Texas quaterbacks, Garrett Gilbert finished with two state championships and 29 straight wins!!!

This 6-foot-4, 218 pound Texas Longhorns football star from Austin took the honors at the MaxPreps Tour of Champions Ceremony Presented by the Army National Guard.

According to Austin Statesmen, Garrett ranks second in state history in career TDs (136), attempts (1,368) and completions (895).

Football coach Pat Fitzgerald - Northwestern Wildcats - extends contract through the 2015 season

Jim Phillips, Northwestern athletics director announced the new deal in a release on Tuesday.

A former All-American linebacker at Northwestern, Pat Fitzberald has been the Wildcats' head coach since 2006. He joined the coaching staff in 2001.

Pat's wins speak for themself:

- 19-18 in three seasons as head coach
- Led Northwestern to a nine-win season in 2008
